1.) What's the reasoning behind this site?
Hmmm... the reasoning behind this site is simple. Sell a piece of myself (my hair) that people can own and at the same time pay off my college debt along the way.
2.) How did this concept come about?
One day while brainstorming on new site ideas I was getting frustrated so I thought how can I offer people a chance to own a little piece of me. I thought to myself hmmm.. the only thing I can think of and what I have alot of would be hair. So I came up with the idea of selling a single hair for one dollar. And that's how the name One Hair One Dollar became what it is today.
3.) What's included in a purchase?
When you go to purchase one or a few of my hairs you will receive the following.
- one single washed hair.
- a plastic baggy to hold the hair for safe keeping.
- a small document which is numbered by the hair that is sold.
4.) How is the single hair treated?
My hair is washed on a daily basis with shampoo and conditioner. My hair also has styling gel applied to it daily for a finished look.
5.) What color will the single hair be when purchased?
My hair when purchased will range in colors from a light brown to a dark brown color.
6.) How long will the single hair be?
My hair length will range from a quarter inch to a little over an inch.

For each hair that is sold here are the numbers broken down to show profits.
1 hair = $1.00 minus baggy - $0.05 minus shipping - $0.37 minus paper - $0.08
